Parking ANBF 2024

Arrival by public transport

Due to the storms on September 15th, the train route between Vienna and Linz is still partially interrupted. As a result of the diversion, trains will run longer and not as frequently.

ÖBB: All ÖBB RJX connections are no longer available, the RJ connections run every hour from Vienna Central Station. Whether a direct connection from Vienna Airport to Linz is possible or a change at Vienna Central Station is necessary may change. Seat reservations are strongly recommended as only about half of the trains run. ÖBB does not accept passengers without a seat on overcrowded trains.

Westbahn: Trains from Vienna Westbahnhof to Linz run every hour.

We ask you to check the train connections yourself at oebb.at and westbahn.at and allow for a longer travel time between Vienna and Linz.

Access to the hall

The main entrance (north entrance) is on the left as you approach the arena from the parking lot. Please just follow the signs.

Parking

Friday & Saturday:
A limited number of free parking spaces are available directly in front of the TIPS Arena. When parking on surrounding residential streets (free of charge), please pay attention to possible driving or parking bans.

Important: Vehicles in the TIPS Arena parking lot must be removed by Saturday evening at the latest and may not be left there overnight. On Sunday, all vehicles still in the parking lot will be towed away!

Sunday:

Important: Due to a LASK football game taking place at the same time in the adjacent football stadium, the parking lot in front of the TIPS Arena is NOT available on Sunday and may not be used by the ANBF!

All athletes, coaches, spectators, crew members and service providers must move to other parking spaces!

Special regulations for athletes (Sunday):

Athletes starting on Sunday will receive a transfer card from the ANBF upon registration upon request. With this you can drive to the TIPS Arena for a limited time to briefly unload your competition materials. The parking lot must then be left immediately. The vehicle may not be parked in the parking lot in front of the TIPS Arena, otherwise it will be towed away. Only a brief exit and unloading of competition materials is permitted.
Spectators are recommended to travel by public transport. On the days of the event, the spectator ticket is also valid as a ticket for public transport in the city of Linz (Linz lines with trams and buses, but not trains and S-Bahn of the ÖBB).

The TIPS Arena Linz (stop “Stadion”) can be easily reached by bus lines 17, 19, 26, 46, 45, 45a and 107 with connections to the tram axis of lines 1, 2, 3 and 4 or with line 27 (stop “Botanischer Garden” – towards chemistry).

A parking ban with a tow zone will be imposed on Ziegleistrasse because bus lanes are being set up there for the football game.
